This one-day event designed specifically for small congregations will be facilitated by our regional staff with a video welcome from UUA president Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray. It will include opportunities to meet other smaller congregation leaders, have meaningful conversations about what it means to be a small congregation, time to share support, ideas, and resources, and explore opportunities for collaboration and ongoing shared learning. And of course, there will be PIE!
Out of an abundance of caution in light of the Coronavirus outbreak, the MidAmerica Region will be cancelling this event. All registration fees will be refunded. We're hoping that once things are clearer about the risks of the spreading the virus in public gatherings, we'll be able to offer other events for small congregations throughout the region. In the meantime, the Central East Region of the UUA is offering a virtual Pi Day event. If your group would like to participate, you can register for it until Thursday at 1 pm ET/noon CT.
