What is Faithify?
Faithify.org is a crowdfunding platform for Unitarian Universalist ministry projects. This includes everything from youth work to justice, service trips, building repairs, staff positions, emerging ministries, and more.
Faithify helps people connect in a way that is faithful within social media and technology, using these tools as part of good ministry.
It is a service of the Unitarian Universalist Association, staffed through the Stewardship and Development Department.
Faithify itself is not a funder and does not distribute funds. In addition to being an online platform for fundraising, Faithify is a resource for its users to practice the skills of stewardship and is designed to be accessible for every level of experience in fundraising.

Who Can Author a Project?
Projects by Unitarian Universalist congregations and UU Organizations, their interfaith and secular project partners, and UU Individuals can author a fundraising campaign on Faithify.
How Does Faithify work?
Faithify fundraising campaigns are independently created by the project owners. They have complete control and responsibility over their fundraiser. They carefully craft time their campaign page and share it with their communities. Every project owner sets their campaign’s funding goal and deadline.
Anyone can back a project on Faithify, from anywhere in the world. Pledges through the Faithify website are made by credit card.
Campaigns by UU congregations in good standing with the Unitarian Universalist Association qualify to include checks towards the campaign’s goal amount if the check is written directly to the congregation and notes the project in its memo line.
What Are the Fees?
Faithify does not charge a fee. If a project is successfully funded, pledges will be processed by Stripe which charges a 2.9% fee + 30 cents per transaction. This fee is subtracted from the pledged amount by Stripe.
