Offered a worship service reflecting on the Edict's anniversary

We are excited to host the Rev. Lidia-Emese Bodor as our preacher on Sunday, January 14th as we celebrate the 450th anniversary of the Edict of Torda with a special worship service. She will be preaching on "Gifts of God," looking at the roots of our faith that we share and how these connections continue to this day.

Our annual Partner Church Sunday celebration on January 21, 2017 will be dedicated to the Torda450 celebration. We will be sharing quotes from Egri Csillagok, Egy az Isten, Géza Gárdonyi's travelogue, and other resources, about the region, the rise of Unitarianism, and how it is realized in Transylvania today.

We are having a church- wide celebration of Torda 450 on Saturday January 20th with Transylvanian food and pictures from our recent visit to our Partner Church in Nyaradszereda. On Sunday January 21st, 2018 we will have a church service devoted to Torda450.

We look forward to lifting up the shared message of tolerance and diversity in the Edict of Torda and in the work of Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement.
