This fall, the International Unitarian/Universalist Joint Working Group (Unitarian Universalist Association International Office, the International Council of Unitarians and Universalists, and the UU Partner Church Council) will host a multi-part webinar series that poses the question: Are we an imperial faith? We invite you to join us to explore how we might respond to this question and its implications.

Unitarians, Universalists, and Unitarian Universalists have sustained and participated in systems of colonialism throughout our history and continuing to this day. Learn about our U/U history of global engagement, how that legacy plays into current relationships, and how we can move towards dismantling imperialist systems in our faith and beyond.

This webinar series will be hosted by Rev. Sara Ascher, Rev. Roger Bertschausen, Rev. Alicia Forde, and Rev. Fred Muir.

The 5-session webinar series will be held via Zoom from 7:30 - 9:00 PM Eastern every Thursday starting September 10 through October 8, 2020. Participation will be limited to 25 people; please email international [at] uua [dot] org to express interest in participating. We look forward to engaging in stimulating conversation with you.
