This year it's even easier and more economically accessible than ever for youth and young adults at attend General Assembly virtually or in person with a discount code and applying for lodging credit.
Just like every GA, this year's GA Youth programming still includes worships and fun get-togethers, as well as meetings to support delegates who are youth and to understand General Sessions.
With a virtual event, building community is even more important. We're intentionally focusing on creating events designed to build a strong community for General Assembly (GA) participants where each person knowsthey can bring their whole selves (all their identities) to GA and be welcome, and that they can support each other and count on each other to get the most out of the experience.
Sure, you don't have to pack, but you still need to prep. What should you have ready before you attend your first Virtual GA event?
This year's GA is virtual, which means no exhausting travel, no pricey hotel stays, no cold-pizza-for-breakfast-again, and NO ADULT SPONSORS NEEDED! Your parent/legal guardian is responsible for your supervision, health and well-being, just like always.
There are so many ways to get in touch with us and with other GA youth attendees and sponsors.
If you want to, there are lots of ways to lead at General Assembly—both small and large.
