Chaplains

Registered attendees may also be referred to their congregational leaders and/or other community resources for additional assistance.

Covenant Team

Commission on Social Witness (CSW)

socialwitness@uua.org
The CSW’s mission is to help UUs put our Principles and Purposes into action. The CSW assists the UUA and its member congregations by facilitating the articulation of suggested Congregational Study/Action Issues (CSAIs) and educating UUs in potential social change inherent in CSAIs. After four years of studying the CSAIs, the CSW prepares and presents to the Assembly draft Statements of Conscience.

Special Collections

development@uua.org
This year’s GA collections benefit the Living Tradition Fund, the Katie Tyson Fund for Youth and Young Adult Ministries, UPLIFT Action & UPLIFT Ministries, and this year’s local beneficiary of the Sunday worship collection, Proud Haven.  Proud Haven operates Haven House, which offers safe shelter for LGBTQIA+ youth ages 18-25 who are unstably housed or experiencing homelessness.

During each collection participants will have an opportunity to donate online, via text-to-give, or through the GA mobile app using a credit card, PayPal, or Apple Pay—these are the preferred, as well as the fastest, safest ways to donate. For those who prefer to donate by check, or via a donor advised fund or IRA qualified charitable distribution, registrants will receive a mailer a few days prior to GA with instructions on how to do this. In-person attendees will still be able to place cash or checks into the collection basket.

Visit https://bit.ly/uua-gacollections to learn more about the collections as well as the Express Donate option—make one gift that is evenly divided between all four of this year’s beneficiaries.
