Accessibility services vary widely and may not always be available. Contact the congregation to learn specifically how they are accessible.

Honor Congregations are those contributing their full requested contribution of the end of the fiscal year.

Covenanting Communities are a new kind of Unitarian Universalist (UU) group. They claim a UU identity and advance UU values, but they look and feel different from a traditional congregation. Covenanting communities include small meeting groups, missional communities, intentional living cooperatives, national networks, and more.

An Emerging Congregation has not yet been accepted into UUA membership. It may be new and growing toward full service or not yet ready to become a UUA member congregation.

Congregations that have taken part in the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) Welcoming Congregation Program are intentionally more inclusive towards bisexual, gay, lesbian, and transgender people.

An accredited Green Sanctuary congregation has educated themselves and created projects in four focus areas: environmental justice, worship and celebration, religious education, and sustainable living.
