Patricia Frevert is the author of numerous children's books, including Why Does the Weather Change? and biographies of Margaret Mead, Pablo Picasso, Beatrix Potter and Mark Twain. She holds a master's degree in early childhood development and has worked as a volunteer religious educator. She is a member of First Parish in Dorchester, Massachusetts.
