The Information Architecture of UUA.org
"Information Architecture" (IA) refers to the organization of the information in a website, especially how the information is organized into menus. The Web Team reorganized UUA.org's main menus in 2011, replacing the audience-centric "Visitors/Members/Leaders" menus with a seven-item menu of major topics. We reorganized the entire UUA.org website to make materials easier to find.
A new Information Architecture project began in November 2015, lead by the Outreach Team. It aims to update the main UUA.org menu to take into account new material that didn't exist in 2011. Stay tuned!
