Oregon Ends Same-sex Marriage Ban
As soon as Oregan's ban on same-sex marriage was lifted, Unitarian Universalist ministers throughout the state stood ready to perform marriage ceremonies. The Rev. Kate Lore of First Unitarian Church of Portland said of the day, 'The level of euphoria was like nothing I'd ever seen, so I was deeply moved.'
