Congregations Build Bridges, Relationships with Native Americans

UU World reports on Unitarian Universalist congregations in South Dakota, New York, Hawaii, and many more that are honoring the cultural contributions of indigenous peoples in their region and making connections to their community's history. In response to learning about and voting to repudiate the Doctrine of Discovery at General Assembly in 2012, these congregations are building lasting relationships beyond their congregation's walls and helping to meet concrete and relevant needs in their community.
