How do you get the page navigation hierarchy on the top of the page?

I see what I call "breadcrumbs" at the top of any page on the demo site indicating the previous page and ultimately the home page.  I don't know how to get those.  Is it a setting I'm missing?

Breadcrumbs are enabled by turning it on in the WordPress SEO (or now Yoast SEO) under the Advanced Settings.

"Advanced" Settings sounds like possible trouble to me.  Any cautionary advice before I turn on breadcrumbs?

Yeah, I don't know why it's under advanced. It basically involves checking a box.

I realize that this is not your plugin, but forgive me if I ask a dumb question:
What does breadcrumbs have to do with SEO?

Christopher, can you tell us the configuration used on the demo site for these breadcrumbs? I've done what is intuitive to me to do and indeed have my breadcrumbs. Yippy! However, the breadcrumb still indicates "staff" as well as "ministry", i.e. the department. Whereas, on the demo site the breadcrumb is simply Home>>Ministry>>Rev. Faith on mine it is Home>>Staff>>Ministry>>Rev. Faith.
If I were more familiar with the terminology I'm sure it would be much more intuitive.

I added it to the documentation at http://uuatheme.org/configuring/header-content/.
Breadcrumbs may not have anything to do with SEO -- they are just provided by a plugin called Yoast SEO, which also gives you advice about making your pages more findable by search engines.
