In February 2019 Shawnee Mission UU Church in Lenexa, Kansas chartered a new BSA Unit with a Family Cub Scout Pack and BSA Scout Troops for girls and boys.  We welcome all youth from kindergarten through high school into our programs. The troop is being led by long-standing members of the church who are also experienced Scouters. The new unit fully embraces inclusive Scouting and welcomes all youth and their families including LGBTQ youth and families. We also welcome youth and families of all faiths and beliefs.
