UNY Youth Buffalo Con 318
Type of event: Conference
This event is a community youth con that will encourage youth to socialize with one another in a safe and welcoming environment.
Cons are Friday evening to Sunday morning events focused on youth leading youth. Youth meet in small groups called "touch groups" to build new friendships, attend workshops, and play large group games. The weekend includes youth led worship and a coffee house.
Adults attend with youth from their congregation and are there to participate with youth.
Capacity for this event is 60 youth, 20 sponsors. The required youth to adult ratio is 7:1.
Fee: $45 per youth, sponsors are free. You may pay by credit card when you register, however that will increase your fee by $1 per person. If you pay by check or cash, you must bring that with you to the con. Checks should be made out to UUA-CER. No credit card payments on site.
If you are unable to pay the full registration fee and need a full or partial waiver you may request that on the registration form. You will be notified if your request is denied. Please bring your partial payment with you.
If this is your first conference, please read the Behavioral Expectations which describes our expectations of youth and adults attending youth events in the region and the CER Youth Event Procedures and Requirements. You will be asked about these documents in the registration process.
