Jr High Con for Grades 7-9 – or home school equivalent: Full day and evening of programming on Sat and overnight to build community, have fun, and give an age-appropriate experience of cons. Activities will be geared for junior high youth and with the expectation that this is a new experience for those attending. Organized and staffed by regional staff with support by high school leaders as additional staff. For jr. high conferees (and their advisors) who are participants in congregations within a 3-hour drive of Albany.
Capacity for this event is 65 youth and we need a 1:5 ratio of adults to youth. If the form is closed and we are not yet at the deadline, please contact the registrar to be placed on the waiting list.
Fee: If you pay be credit card during registration the fee is $21 per person - youth or adult. If you pay by check or cash, you must bring that with you to the con and the fee is $25 per person. No credit card payments on site.
If you are unable to pay the full registration fee and need a full or partial waiver you may request that on the registration form. You will be notified if your request is denied. Please bring your partial payment with you. Payment must be made in cash or by check made payable to UUA-CER. You cannot make a partial payment via credit card.
If this is your first conference, please read the Behavioral Expectations which describes our expectations of youth and adults attending youth events in the region and the CER Youth Event Procedures and Requirements. You will be asked about these documents in the registration process.
