The First Unitarian Church of Rochester, NY is hosting a Youth Mini-Con - Economic Justice, April 15-13, 2022. This event is open to you in High School (grades 9-12, ages 14-18). Youth need to attend with an adult sponsor so we can maintain the 7 youth to 1 adult ratio.

The First Unitarian Church of Rochester Youth Group is excited to host a 24-hour Social Justice mini-con on the topic of Economic Justice!

We will learn together through different workshops, unwind during shared meals and self-care activities, and connect spiritually with a candlelight worship ritual. We will also be joined by the City Roots Community Land Trust for a workshop on housing justice.

Lunch and dinner Saturday, breakfast Sunday, and snacks will be provided.

Adults and youth will all sleep in one of our large event rooms, which has two single-occupant bathrooms. Some couches and cushions are available but please bring the bedding/pillows/mats you will need to be comfortable.

COVID Requirements: Please take a home COVID test within 24 hours before arrival. Rapid testing will be available at check-in. The mini-con will be mask optional.
Please stay home if you are feeling sick, even if it's not COVID!

Cost: $20-35 sliding scale for youth. Please pay what you can. No charge for adults.
