How can we live our values as UUs? What is the role of youth leadership in social justice movements? What are the connections between racial, economic and social justice in our society?

At this day-long workshop we will explore these questions and more and build youth community through participatory activities and games! Whether you are new to UU youth ministry or social justice work or experienced with them both, you are welcome! Come learn about anti-oppression work and build with UU youth from other congregations.

The youth/adult ratio for this event is 8:1. The cap is 40 youth.

Cost for this event is $20 for youth. If you need a scholarship please contact the registrar. Money is due at the door in cash or check made out to First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh. No credit cards. Adults are free.

Due to PA Laws: All adults who are residents of PA must have PA Youth/Child Safety Clearance to attend this event and have had these submitted to the region. Adults from outside PA must have a recent background check submitted to the region. You will be asked to sign a disclosure of criminal convictions at the door.
