General Assembly Off-Site Orientation
Type of event: Webinar
Sponsor: Central East Region of the UUA
General Assembly is one of the largest gatherings of representatives of the congregations of the UUA. Off-site attendees have the opportunity to fully participate in plenary sessions (if you are a delegate) and to participate in some workshops.
In this webinar you will learn about some of the responsibilities of being a delegate and just because you are attending virtually doesn’t mean you have to attend alone. Rev. Laine and fellow virtual delegates in her congregations have experimented with different ways of coming together to create a community experience. Rev. Laine will offer stories of her experience and lead a conversation about what might work in your home congregation.
This orientation is open to everyone, and especially appropriate to those attending GA for the first time.
Onsite delegate? Check out our GA Orientation Webinar for those traveling to Kansas City on June 13, 2018.
