Stewardship Summit for Large Churches
Type of event: Conference
This gathering will be an opportunity for the leaders of large congregations in the DC cluster to explore stewardship with each other and with UUA staff from theological, spiritual, and practical angles. There will be time for personal reflection, small group conversation, as well as opportunities to hear about other congregations’ best practices. The main focus will be on the spirituality that undergirds stewardship, which is the key to reinvigorating giving habits in the 21st century congregation. The day will begin and end with a worship time that will ground our work in Unitarian Universalism.
We have a variety of expertise at the UUA to frame the day the way participants would like. Which questions are most front and center for you? Options:
- Planned Giving
- Year-Round Stewardship
- Fundraising Outside of the Pledge Drive
- Theology of Stewardship
- What else are you working on? What is worrying you?
Bring your stewardship folks, your Boards, your ministry teams. Let’s learn from one another.
Cost is $15 for lunch.
This event is open to large congregations in the Central East Region. Contact mfoley [at] uua [dot] org (Megan Foley) for a registration link.
