Delmarva Cluster Leadership Retreat
Type of event: Training
In Unitarian Universalism, it is the lay-leadership of the congregations who are the Religious Leaders of Unitarian Universalism in their congregations and communities. Serving as a leader of our faith tradition can be both rewarding and challenging, and it takes a some particular skills to do well.
This leadership retreat will focus on helping leader to better understand their congregations and the roles they play in the congregation as leaders. Through the exploration of Family Systems theory, how change happens, and how anxiety works in communities, leaders will grow in their ability to be centered, effective, and spirit-filled religious leaders. This workshop focuses on the relationships that are at the heart of any congregation, and how a leader can live in those relationships well.
The workshop will be led by Rev. David Pyle, the UUA Staff Primary Contact for the Delmarva Cluster.
