Depression and bipolar disorder are common mental health disorders affecting many individuals and families. This workshop will provide participants with a better understanding of the conditions and how we can best support those affected. “Let Me Tell You What It’s Really Like” is a powerful one-act play by Jennifer and Kate Ives presenting a frank conversation on living with bipolar disorder, both for the person diagnosed and those in his or her life. The audience is addressed directly by the actors as they share the emotions, thoughts, and fears that are part of a bipolar existence. Join us in learning how to serve your congregation’s individuals and families affected by these difficult concerns.
