Let us help you with your annual board retreat! Sign up as a team and meet with other congregational leaders online for a 3-hour interactive session.

Self-paced pre-work will include frameworks such as governance, conflict and change dynamics, cultural competencies, fiduciary responsibilities, efficient meetings, mission-based budgeting and decision-making, self-differentiation and boundaries, and spiritual grounding. In the live session you will be able to engage with board members from other similarly-sized *congregations as you work on case studies and creative problem solving. You will also be given planning tools for a self-directed goal-setting session, which you can use in the afternoon or at a later date.

We offer the pre-work (about 3 hours) in an on-demand, self-paced format so that we can spend our time together in conversations. You will be sent an invitation to the pre-work course on the UU Institute site. You will need to create a user account for the site if you have not yet done so.
