Featured Resource: Guest In Your Pulpit
Does your congregation need Sunday morning speakers? Is your Worship Committee struggling to fill your calendar? The Guest in Your Pulpit program is designed to help all congregations of all sizes deal with this issue.
The Guest in Your Pulpit Program is a listing of available ministers, seminarians, ministerial candidates and lay pulpit guests for congregations in the Central East Region. This program was created to assist churches to find people who are willing to provide services. We currently have individuals in the former Ohio-Meadville, St. Lawrence and Metro NY Districts, although some are willing to travel quite a distance to preach at a congregation.
Our current database of presenters is available on the Central East Region website. They are currently listed by the state they reside in, but if you live close to a border, you may want to check those in neighboring states as many are willing to travel some distance. You can find the Guest in Your Pulpit pages in the Resources section of the CER website.
If you have questions about the Guest in Your Pulpit program please contact Beth Casebolt at bcasebolt@uua.org or your primary contact.

Monthly Leadership Roundtable Connects Congregational Leaders
Starting in October, the Central East Regional Staff are hosting a monthly roundtable for congregational presidents and leaders. This event is open to anyone who wishes to attend.
Each webinar is hosted by one of the regional staff who offer a 15-20 minute presentation on a topic they are the program manager for and then the session is opened up for discussion and questions on any topic.
The webinar meets the last Wednesday of each month except December at 7:30. Upcoming topics include:
November 30 - Transitions with Andrea Lerner
January 25 - UU Leadership Institute with Rev. Renee Ruchotzke
February 22 - Bullying with Rev. Hope Johnson
Missed October? It was recorded and is on our YouTube Channel. Connection information is available on our website and calendar.

Better Together Blog: After the Election, From Your Staff
Dear Congregations and Clergy of the Central East Region,
Last night’s election results are in, and we know that we are not alone in experiencing a wide range of emotions. We know that many of you are rising to this new day with more questions than answers. We do not yet know what this means for ourselves, for our congregations, for those we love, or for the vision of Beloved Community that our faith calls us to.
