Are You Ready for Summer Institute?
Are You Ready for Summer Institute?

This week's post is written by members of the SI Planning and Registration Teams.

Summer Institute is an intentional intergenerational community that gets created and re-created each summer as we come together to live fully as Unitarian Universalists. It is a vacation week to grow, relax, play, and connect. It is a time to experience workshops and new ideas. It is a place for relaxed conversations with old friends and friends you do not yet know. It is a time to recharge and live fully.

There is a diversity of both programming and worship opportunities designed to appeal to the breadth of our community. Between the children's program, youth programming and adult seminars in the morning to the afternoon multigenerational workshops to evening activities there is something for everyone. Want something physical? We have water aerobics and yoga. Interested in art? How about tie dye, body art or cross-stitch. Music? Our theme speaker will be focusing on how music can help build communities in the morning and leading singing in the afternoon. There is also choir, children's choir and small ensembles. We really do have something for everyone!

In addition, we're celebrating our 40th anniversary this year!

So are you excited about Building a Vocal community this July? Then now is time to get ready! The time to register for CERSI is just around the corner.
