Help Build the Bridge

Bridging into UU Young Adulthood is now easier than ever for Unitarian Universalist youth, their families, and their congregations. A new book from Tapestry of Faith, Bridging: Handbook for Congregations, provides templates for a year-long program and a ceremony marking the transition from youth to young adulthood. Written by Gail Forsyth-Vail, Adult Programs Director, and Jessica York, Youth Programs Director in the UUA Ministries and Faith Development staff group, this handbook enhances existing UUA programs that help young adult UUs nurture their ties to our faith as they transition to college, new jobs, or new living situations, near to or far from home. Purchase Bridging: Handbook for Congregations from the UUA Bookstore. Youth: Sign up online for the Bridge Connections Program to identify and connect with UU communities, including campus groups!
