2015-2016 Youth Observers to the UUA Board of Trustees Announced

Friends, the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries is pleased to announce Olivia Calvi and Caleb Leman as the 2015-2016 Youth Observers to the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) Board of Trustees. We would like to thank those who participated in the voting process. The Youth Observer positions are full, non-voting members of the Board. Caleb and Olivia will bring their unique perspectives as youth leaders in their work with the Board. Olivia and Caleb will begin their service at the end of General Assembly 2015 and serve until the end of General Assembly 2016. Who Are Your Youth Observers? OLIVIA CALVI – Has served Unitarian Universalist youth in many capacities, is the Current Dean of Youth Caucus, and attends Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church, in Los Angeles, CA. CALEB LEMAN – recently moderated this discussion between Luminary Leaders and UUA President Peter Morales with UUA Moderator Jim Key. He has served as Youth Staff at Midwest Leadership School and as Youth President of his youth group at Northshore Unitarian Church, Deerfield, Illinois.
