Isaac Bonewits is a well known and well respected figure in the Neopagan community. A practicing Neopagan priest, author, scholar, and speaker, he has played a vital role in the Neopagan community since the 1970s. A Wiccan High Priest and a Third Level Druid in three Druidic organiations, Bonewits is also the founder and Archdruid Emeritus of Ár nDraíocht Féin, a well-known Neopagan Druid organization. Bonewits has led public rituals—with groups ranging from dozens to thousands—from Berkeley, CA, to Washington, DC, and elsewhere.
