Hinduism

Ideas and practices from many religious traditions, including Hinduism, are welcome in Unitarian Universalism. Unitarian Universalism shares some of the values found in Hinduism, including the importance of a personal search for truth, the idea that all things are connected, and a respect for other religious paths. Unitarian Universalism welcomes many understandings of divinity, including polytheism.

More information about the relationship between Unitarian Universalism and Hinduism can be found in the St. Petersburg Times article "Outsider, insider" (about a Hindu Unitarian Universalist minister) and the UU World article "The sacred in images."
