Apply for Nomination to GA-Elected Positions: UUA Board, UUA Financial Adviser, and UUA Committees Commissions
Take part in shaping the future of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA)!
The UUA relies upon energetic, committed, visionary Unitarian Universalists to serve on the board, committees, and commissions that work to carry out the mission of the Association.
We are eager to draw volunteers from the rich diversity of our movement—theological, philosophical, geographical, political, ethnic, racial, affectional orientation, physical ability, gender and age. Consistent with resolutions of our General Assembly (GA), we're intentional about becoming an anti-racist, anti-oppressions, multicultural institution, and we want our boards and committees to embody that intention.
This year (2012) the UUA Nominating Committee receives applications until August 15, 2012, and selects nominees for the slate of candidates to be presented for election at 2013 General Assembly. The Nominating Committees nominees will be public no later than December 10, 2012. Candidates may also run by petition which must be filed with the Secretary of the UUA no later than February 1, 2013.
