*Section 6.4. Election of Trustees.

The youth trustee at large and one-half of the other number of trustees at large shall be elected at the regular General Assembly held in each odd-numbered year. One-half, as nearly as possible, of the trustees representing districts shall be elected prior to each such General Assembly. The Board of Trustees shall assign a number to each trustee position for the purposes of electing trustees.

The 2011 General Assembly adopted changes to Sections 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 6.8, 8.3, 8.7, 9.1, 9.3, 9.4, 9.6, 9.11, 9.12, and 9.13 of the Bylaws and to Rule G-9.13.2 that will reduce the size of the UUA Board from 26 persons to 14 and change the process of election of trustees. Some of those changes became effective at the close of the 2012 General Assembly, and others will become effective at the close of the 2013 General Assembly.
