Best Practices Committee
Effective April 2007, the Best Practices Committee of the Board has been placed into indefinite hibernation, in order to devote more Board resources to the migration to our new governance model.
No meetings will be scheduled until further notice.
Some key duties of the Best Practices team have been picked up by the Board’s leadership group (Moderators, Working Group conveners, etc. ) in the interim.
Charge to the Committee
Appointed and Charged by the UUA Moderator:
- To assist the Board in being a continuously learning organization by evaluating new operational and management methods, and guiding a regular self-evaluation process.
- To serve as a clearinghouse for tasks or issues which are homeless. Clarify issues, and with consent, assign tasks to existing Working Groups, Committees or Task Forces, or recommend to the Board that a committee or task force be formed to deal with the issue or opportunity. Some tasks may be worked on directly by the BP Committee.
