Services plugin - Start Date date format
Hi,
I may be alone, but in the Services Plugin, Edit Service page, I find the date format used for the Start Date and Time disorienting.

To me this looks like May 4, but I think it's actually April 5.
The Wordpress Date Format setting is "F j, Y" (example March 22, 2020) ... so it seems like not only is the plugin format unusual, but it's also ignoring the site's setting.
Is there a different place I can set this? Or is this something that can be improved in the theme?
Thanks,
Dave

I replied:
This has annoyed me, too! The developer who wrote this plugin is Canadian and used the international date format. I'll see whether we can either make it use the date format selected in General Settings or always use the US date format.
dsm2005 chimed in with a correction:
Great, thanks! The standard international date format is ISO 8601 - Wikipedia. That standard specifies format like this one: 2020-03-23, and not 23-03-2020.
Hi Margy, any news on this? Thanks!
I try to date all my files Year/Month/Date, i.e. 210725, so that they sort chronologically. I think each site can change its preference for WordPress date presentation—I know that one of my plug-ins started the week with Monday and when folks complained I could set the week starting date to Sunday in WordPress settings.
