Instructions for Voting on Congregational Poll
Five congregations have proposed Congregational Study/Action Issues for 2012-2016. This Poll of congregations will decide whether any or all of those proposals will be submitted to the delegates of the 2012 General Assembly (GA) for selection of one. Please vote “Yes” for the proposals that your congregation wants the 2012 GA delegates to consider for adoption; vote “No” for proposals your congregation does not want to be considered; vote “Abstain” for proposals for which your congregation does not have an opinion. Your congregation’s opinion may be obtained from a congregation-wide vote, Board of Trustees vote, or by the vote of a committee delegated that authority, usually by the Board of Trustees.
For any Proposed Congregational Study/Action Issues to appear on the General Assembly 2012 delegate ballot, our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) bylaws require a quorum of 25% of certified congregations to participate in this Poll. Please participate! (opens November 15, 2011)
The five Proposed Congregational Study/Action Issues can be viewed here.
The deadline for responding to this Congregational Poll is February 1, 2012 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
