1971 General Resolution

BE IT RESOLVED:
  1. That the Unitarian Universalist Association go on record as being disturbed by the inadequacies of current public education and supportive of new educational programs;
  2. That local societies work to make available their physical facilities and moral support to persons interested in educational advancement;
  3. That a copy of this resolution be sent to:
    1. all local societies;
    2. American Federation of Teachers (AFL-CIO);
    3. National Education Association;
    4. Parent Teacher Association;
    5. New Schools Exchange;
    6. American Association of University Professors;
    7. National Teachers Association;
    8. National Association of University Women.
