Anti-Ballistic Missiles

BE IT RESOLVED : That the 1968 General Assembly of the Unitarian Universalist Association urges that the United States Administration and Congress terminate the $5 billion anti-ballistic missile program;

FURTHER URGES: That the United States Government use all of its diplomatic and international relations resources to reverse the arms race by negotiating a comprehensive test ban treaty and a non-proliferation treaty, and take measures to achieve an agreement with the other nuclear powers to freeze the manufacture of nuclear weapons and a reduction of existing stockpiles.
