Coalition Partners

UU Global Aids Coalition
The Unitarian Universalist Global AIDS Coalition provides a link between the many Unitarian Universalist (UU) congregations actively working to stem the HIV/AIDS Pandemic. Contact Ann Pickar at apickar @ cs.com to begin receiving their newsletter. Also, if your congregation is actively working on HIV/AIDS issues, consider applying to become a Red Ribbon Congregation.

UU United Nations Office
The Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office (UU-UNO) has worked very closely with the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) to create HIV/AIDS resources for our congregations. They have a variety of programs to address Global HIV/AIDS.

Center for Health and Gender Equity (CHANGE)
CHANGE has been a close partner in advocating for better global HIV/AIDS policies. They also manage and update the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Watch website.

Advocates for Youth
This organization is a strong partner of the UUA. We collaborate on global HIV/AIDS advocacy and domestic comprehensive sexuality education campaigns. Their website has many resources and their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Worship

Planning a worship service for World AIDS Day? The Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office has an excellent worship resource packet to make your planning much easier.
