For information about individual and group volunteer opportunities, contact Quo Vadis Breaux by emailing qvbreaux @ yahoo.com, or calling (857) 928-6791 or (504) 866-4170. Make a donation to the Rebirth Center.

Become KIN
Join The Katrina Information Network (KIN), a collaboration of groups which use e-advocacy, grassroots pressure, local actions, resolutions and selective buying to build greater pressure for justice in the Gulf. And take a look at their list of 29 suggestions for how to aid rebuilding in the Gulf Coast, released in honor of the third anniversary of Hurricane Katrina: 29 for the 29th

Work With Your Congregation to Adopt a School Through the New Orleans Book Project
The New Orleans Book Project, a project of Susan K Smith Ministries, is asking congregations to adopt one of several designated schools in New Orleans and get them brand new books. The hope is that congregation members will purchase new books and send them to their designated school by mid-November, 2008. For more information, or to get involved, email Rev. Susan Smith (UCC) at revsuekim @ sbcglobal.net.
