Hear what past participants have to say:
[SEAT] was a wonderful opportunity, and opened my eyes to what faith communities can do. I am completely motivated to get trained in OWL, so that I can bring it to my church as a much needed option for young people. Most moving was that of getting to go lobby! I had an amazing experience with the staff persons at all the offices I went to. All the staff persons were extremely candid, sharing their own personal experiences and opinions on sex education. I felt so at ease, with such great preparation on what OWL is and the REAL Act. I even got to shortly meet with Rep. Rosa DeLauro! Thanks again for this amazing experience! I felt right at home, and loved all the amazing people I met.

There was a wonderful balance between identity work and advocacy work and strong connections between the two

I feel like I have a plan to follow when articulating my message to policy makers and the media. We were not only provided with skills, but with great information about the REAL Act. It was also so invigorating to be around such a diverse, dynamic, exciting group of people. What a morale boost!"
