Action

Unitarian Universalist Association History

In joining the Association, Unitarian Universalist Congregations covenant “to affirm and promote” a set of seven principles, including “…the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large.” Among other things, this Principle (the Fifth) connects our historic and theological commitment to individual freedom and conscience with how we make decisions as congregations, as communities, and as a nation.
