Tents of Hope for Darfur
The Tents of Hope project is a one-year process in which communities respond to the crisis in Darfur, Sudan by creating tents that are both unique works of art and ongoing focal points within their communities for learning about, assisting and establishing relationships with the people of Sudan. Both the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) have endorsed the project and will be helping to organize the November 6-9 national mobilization in which hundreds of tents will be coming to the National Mall.
