Youth Project Grant Program

Youth Ministry Project Grants are used to support local youth-led projects that offer Unitarian Universalist high school-aged youth opportunities to grow in faith, deepen in spirit, develop skills, experience leadership and engage in service and justice work. Grants will be awarded to youth who have paired with an adult advisor in a sponsoring congregation, district, or Unitarian Universalist organization and whose project is geared toward developing dynamic, multigenerational communities grounded in congregational life.

For grant program descriptions, evaluation criteria and instructions, see the application form (PDF).

Grant applications received by the following deadlines will be given priority. Grant applications received after the deadline will still be reviewed for the available funding.

  • Programs beginning February 1 - June 30, 2012:
    Deadline—January 9, 2012
  • Programs beginning July 1 - October 31, 2012:
    Deadline—May 1, 2012
  • Programs beginning November 1, 2012 - February 28, 2013:
    Deadline—October 1, 2012

Grants made available through the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries are made possible from a variety of sources including your congregation's Annual Program Fund dues.
