Trainings for Young Adults

Trainings offer in-depth opportunities for spiritual development, skill-building and connection for young adults. They are one key approach for creating meaningful spaces in which young adults can connect with one another, and can be held at a local, cluster, regional or national level. Read about some successful training below.

  • Young Adult Road Show
Hosted by the Ohio-Meadville District (OMD), the Young Adult Roadshow gathered young adults and adult allies in the Cleveland area for a Saturday workshop on how congregations can support young adults, and a Sunday worship service.

  • Spiritual Activist Leadership Training Program (SALT)
This year-long program for a small cohort of fellows is sponsored by the UU Legislative Ministry of California. SALT Fellows:

    • Connect with justice makers across California.

    • Develop concrete faith-based leadership, fundraising, and community organizing skills.

    • Deepen their connection to our UU faith and communities.
