General Assembly Young Adult Caucus

Young adults attend General Assembly (GA) for a number of reasons and from a variety of backgrounds. The mission of GA Young Adult Caucus is to provide an inclusive and empowering community for young adults to network, worship, and share a collective voice as participants in the larger GA community.

Other Staff Positions

The Young Adult Caucus staff for GA 2012 also includes two chaplains, one primarily focused on community support and one primarily focused on worship.

GA 2012 Accessibility Project

Jointly supported by the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries and the General Assembly Planning Committee, the GA 2012 Accessibility Project is a multi-pronged approach to making it easier for youth and young adults to attend Justice GA.

The Accessibility Project page will host information on grants, scholarships and initiatives aimed at reducing the cost of attendance, as well as capture information about GA programming and preparation.

Scholarships

Several forms of financial aid and scholarships are available to young adults needing assistance in attending General Assembly. Volunteers have their registration paid in exchange for a number of volunteer hours at GA. General GA scholarships are available and young adult specific scholarships are also available.

Housing

Information about housing at GA, including hotels, home hospitality, and an email list to assist with finding roommates can be found at the General Assembly Housing page.
