For more than ten years, young adult ministry has been part of the job description of the Director of Religious Education at the First Unitarian Church of Providence. More recently, the congregation focused energy on developing campus ministries at Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design. This ministry involves regular worship, as well as invitations to students to participate in the congregation-made possible by its proximity to the campuses. Small group ministry is an important part of the young adult program at this large mid-sized congregation.
