Thomas Paine said, "Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." Moderation is sometimes viewed as wishy-washiness or too much willingness to compromise. But it can also be viewed as disciplined and mature. What are your personal feelings about moderation? When has the use of moderation been helpful? A hindrance?
