Spiritual Preparation, Workshop 23: Wider and Stronger
In "Building Bridges," a Tapestry of Faith program
Consider the journey you have taken into the history, beliefs, and practices of multiple religions. Allow a particular faith to spring to mind. Then ask yourself: What about this faith interests me? Its history? Beliefs? Practices? Does something resonate for me personally, in the way this faith meets its followers' deepest needs?
Unitarian Universalism invites us to embrace wisdom we find in other religions. During this program, has that happened for you? How has your Unitarian Universalist faith called you, guided you, and supported you in this journey?
Has your expanded knowledge of other religions deepened your Unitarian Universalist faith or identity? Were you an interfaith bridge-builder when you agreed to lead this program? Are you called to be one now? Reflect on how you will continue building bridges once this program concludes.
This work is made possible by the generosity of individual donors and congregations. Please consider making a donation today.
