- A copy of Singing the Living Tradition, the Unitarian Universalist hymnbook
- Small table or stand for chalice
- Chalice, candle and lighter or LED battery-operated candle
Preparation for Activity
- Set up the chalice in the center of the circle.
Description of Activity
Gather the group in a circle. Ask a participant to light the chalice as you or another participant read the opening words.
