Description of Activity
Light the chalice or invite a participant to light it while you offer these words from the Roman philosopher Seneca:
It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.
Remind participants of the spirit of their covenant. Share the goals of this workshop.
