Virtue Ethics (High School)

Field-test VIRTUE ETHICS,
a new Tapestry of Faith program
for high school youth!

Are you looking to engage your congregation’s youth
in a UU-based exploration of moral frameworks,
ethical choices, and how our behavior shapes our character?

In 12 90-minute workshops, the Virtue Ethics curriculum guides youth to discover how integrity, humility, generosity, and other classic “virtues” do and could operate in their real lives.

Why field test a Tapestry of Faith program?

Experience new UU programs as soon as they are published.

Provide crucial feedback to help shape a new generation of UU religious education.

Engage with UUA resource development staff, on a person-to-person level.

Introduceyour faith community to the UUA’s online, interactive, and flexible family of Tapestry of Faith resources, useful for a wide range of programs and participants.

Virtue Ethics is designed for use as a multi-workshop program for youth in grades 9-12, or as individual modules. Extend the program by using the simple workshop template to help the youth explore more virtues. The UUA seeks UU faith communities diverse in size, geographic location, and program format to field test Virtue Ethics. Field testing leaders are asked to submit feedback via an Internet survey site; instructions will be provided.
