A Year in Reflection...
Megan Selby Says Goodbye
Well, thank you to Erin and Greg for this “Barbara Walters Special”-esque title to this article. I love it! Well it's been almost a whole year here in Boston. I've had a great time here networking with all sorts of youth and organizers. I think what I've appreciated most, related to the job, is getting to work with all sorts of folks doing awesome social justice and anti-racism work. I've learned so much about myself and this world I live in. Thanks to all the people who took time to teach me.
As I depart from the Youth Office I'd like to put a challenge out there to myself and others to continue in the struggle to end oppression. Everyday we have to work at it, through talking with our close friends and family, involving new people in the movement, organizing events, educating ourselves, questioning the institutions we're a part of, and being accountable allies to those who have no choice in participating in the struggle everyday. Check in with me when you can to make sure I'm taking this challenge.
Smell y'all
soon!

megan :)
